Description

Fundamental concepts of wireless networking and mobile computing are introduced in this course. Topics include: cellular networks, multiple access protocols, channel assignment and resource allocation, mobility and location management, handoffs, routing, authentication, call admission control, QoS provisioning, network layer issues, wireless technologies (WAP, GSM, GPRS, CDMA, WCDMA), mobile ad hoc networks.
